ASWS-20 Series Accessible Grill - Stainless Steel
All components of this accessible charcoal grill are fabricated from stainless steel.
Model ASWS-20 Charcoal Grill offers 300 sq. inches of cooking area on the single-level swivel grate. The cooking grate swivels 180 degrees – over the charcoals or completely out of the firebox – but the grate handle is never over the heat.
Model ASWS-20 park grill is ADA Compliant for reach and operability. A truly accessible charcoal grill.
The cooking grate on this grill requires less than 5 lbs. of force to move and requires only one hand to operate (ADA-ABA 309.4: Draft Final-Outdoor 1011.3). The cooking surface is less than 34” high (ADA-ABA 902.3; Draft Final-Outdoor 1011.5).
The grill firebox can also rotate 360 degrees in either direction on a theft-proof swivel attachment. Standard 2-3/8” OD x 40” long stainless steel base post for embedded installation (B6S).
The firebox is 6” high on the swivel side, and 10” high on the other side to provide wind protection above the cooking grate.
Model ASWS-20 accessible grills have a firebox fabricated from 304-grade stainless steel for the back 7 ga. (3/16”) and the sides/bottom 11 ga. (1/8”). The firebox includes integral die-formed flanges to retain ashes and to reinforce the firebox from the heat, plus special stainless steel reinforcement braces under the firebox to prevent heat warpage. This accessible grill firebox includes all welded construction – no bolts or rivets.
The swivel cooking grate is a single piece, laser cut from 7 ga. (3/16”) thick stainless steel plate, and includes a stainless steel swivel tube and handle with a coiled grip.
Stainless steel components are not painted. There will be visible weld marks.
OPTIONAL: Model B19S stainless steel surface mount/bolt-down base post (instead of standard embedded post). Becomes Model ASWS-20 B19S. Surface anchor bolts are not included - use Model ANC1-4SS Concrete Anchor Kit with stainless steel anchors.
OPTIONAL: Cover Caps, two-part aluminum cap to cover the bottom of embedded B6S base post only. You will need (1) #CC-1 cover cap per grill. The natural cast aluminum finish will match the stainless post.
